now don't get me wrong, fireworks are great, in fact they can be quite amusing, but i live in a particularily roughneck area of "Merry old England" and this is where many startled families suddenly find their curtains ablaze near the letterbox after some evidently stupid individual has placed a firecracker through it, now this may sound normal to some people, but the reality of it is that it can kill, just this week there's been a tragic story in the papers about how a young mother and her slightly underdeveloped son have had a brush with death due to a band of thugs doing exactly as described, Unfortunately, our government's corrupt and useless, our councils are too afraid to send police anywhere anymore due to health and safety gone mad etc etc, it doesn't seem to get any better, in fact, as gangs become more emboldened by these acts of "bravery and HXC" the situation invariably becomes even worse. Unfortunately there's nothing to do but rant about it, as one man can not take on the legions of Caesar, but hopefully someone will step up to the plate and do something one day.

Some people doesn't seem to understand that they're dealing with explosives. It's just toys to them.

Exactly, you wonder sometimes if people realise that what they're throwing around could be as dangerous as high end exlosives like grenades, they still do massive amounts of harm, that and people don't seem to look at death with the same seriousness anymore, i can't imaginee why this is.
